In April 2011, Spring ISD participated in a national study, at no cost to the district,
to make communication more effective at the classroom, school building and
district levels. The research was part of a communication accountability program
of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). The survey firm,
K12 Insight, Inc., donated its services for this project to NSPRA.
The survey gauged participants’ level of satisfaction with the information
they receive from the school district, their child’s school and their child’s
teachers. In addition parents were asked what information they are most
interested in receiving and how they prefer to receive information.
