Professional and Paraprofessional applicants must list a minimum of three references on the online application. When listing your references, please include administrators/supervisors for whom you have worked and who have had responsibility for observing and evaluating the quality of your work. If you are a student teacher, include cooperating teachers and university supervisors. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your references’ information. References are not contacted unless you are being considered for hire.

Substitute applicants must have 3 reference forms completed by former supervisors on file before the application will be considered complete. Reference forms should be mailed or faxed to Spring ISD; attention sub office.

Unofficial college and university transcripts showing degree(s) conferred may be used to scan and attach to the online application. If recommended for a contract, the district will require an official college/university transcript.

Spring ISD accepts all applications and requires applicants to be eligible to work in the United States. At this time, the district is not sponsoring applicants for their H-1B visas.

Administrators with vacancies will review the online applicants who have applied to the Online Application Job Board and will select eligible candidates for interviews. Once a candidate has been offered a position, a recommendation to hire will be sent to Human Resources.

You SHOULD NOT contact campus administrators to schedule interviews. Principals at the sites where you have applied have access to your online application. After reviewing your application, a principal may contact you to schedule a campus interview. In order for your online application to be most effective and receive full consideration in our staff planning process, it is important that you provide all the information and specific documentation requested in the instructions.
