HOUSTON - July 25, 2012 - The Spring ISD Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program offers numerous opportunities for volunteers who wish to help out in the district’s schools. Volunteers participating in Spring ISD schools make a significant contribution to the education of children. Opportunities include tutoring, reading, lunch visits, career presentations, hall monitoring and administrative tasks. This year a special focus is being placed on group mentoring in addition to individual mentoring throughout the district at elementary and secondary campuses.
