HOUSTON - June 8, 2012 - Spring ISD is offering free breakfast and lunch this summer to all children 18 years old or under. The Summer Feeding Program will operate at 5 middle schools and 10 elementary schools. To participate, children may simply show up at a program school site, listed below, during the scheduled times. Proper attire, including shoes, and good behavior are required.
Child Nutrition funding comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Districts with high numbers of students on free and reduced-price meals during the school year, are required by the USDA to offer a summer feeding program. For more information, call 281-891-6445.
