HOUSTON - June 12, 2012 - Ten Spring High students have been awarded the Texas Music Scholar Award from the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA). The award is given to students who exhibited outstanding qualities in scholastic merit, musicianship and citizenship in their school and community. The students are Kristina Alford, 12th grade, alto; Savannah Bolton, 11th grade, alto; Alyssa Gonzalez, 10th grade, soprano; Kelsey Null, 12th grade, soprano; Tomi Sulaiman, 11th grade, alto; Alison Terry, 12th grade, alto; Anna Covarrubias, 11th grade, soprano; Kaylin Kirksey, 12th grade, alto; Ana Ramirez-Morales,11th grade, alto; and Asia Williams, 12th grade, alto.
