Principal
Lakeisha Dunevant has been named the principal at Bammel Elementary School. Ms. Dunevant has spent her entire educational career in Spring ISD, most recently serving as assistant principal at Clark Elementary School. Before serving in campus leadership roles, she started in the district in 2016 as a 21st Century Site Coordinator. She later served at the former Clark Intermediate School as a math coach before moving to the former Clark Primary School as an assistant principal, where she helped increase student achievement, and parental and community involvement and engagement. Ms. Dunevant earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University, as well as a masters in Educational Administration from the University of St. Thomas (Houston).
