This past weekend the Dueitt Middle School Theatre Students competed in the annual One Act Play District Competition held at Dekaney High School.

The Students successfully presented their production of 'Everyman in the Circus of Life' and received "Excellent" ratings for their performance and placed 2nd in the overall competition. 

Dueitt also received individual awards as follows:

Best Performer:

7th grader, Eddie Idemudia as "Everyman"

AllStar Cast:

6th grader, Amy Ayala as "Barker 2"

7th grader, Maranda Spencer as "Prudence"

8th grader, Ja'Vonteia Woods as "Circus Boss"

Honorable Mention:

7th grader, Ryan Aguilera as "RingMaster"

Best Tech:

Ava Simms (Stage Manager)
