Marangelly Harris has been named the new principal at Northgate Crossing Elementary School. Ms. Harris has served in education for over 17 years, most recently coming from Spring Branch ISD as a 9th & 10th grade level principal. Before stepping into education, she began her career by serving in the U.S. Army for almost a decade. She later on became a teacher, testing coordinator and assistant principal in El Paso ISD before going on to serve as an elementary principal at Rolla Public Schools in Rolla, Missouri, where she led her campus from an “F” to “B” rating in two years. She returned back to Texas in 2019 as an assistant principal in Brazosport ISD and Bay City ISD. Ms. Harris earned her Bachelor of Science in social psychology from Park University, as well as a Masters in Human Services from Capella University. She is currently completing her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
