National Blue Ribbon Award Nomination

Our why? Our Remarkable DNA scholars are our why! Our district leaders that support our programs, the amazing RMS staff, hard working teachers, and committed parents put our WHY first. We believe & our scholars achieve. Earlier this year you heard me announce that due to our “A” rating as a campus, TexasEmail presented us with the Gold Ribbon Award. I am proud to announce that RMS has now been recognized as one of the 26 schools in Texas to be nationally nominated as a Blue Ribbon school! This national recognition is no easy feat! This is the realization that our joint effort as a district, community, and campus do serve our scholars well. Thank you to all leaders, teachers, staff members, parent/community members, and most importantly our Remarkable RMS scholars for all that you do. We are Remarkable D.N.A, “Definitely Not Average!”

We are a Gold Ribbon School!

RMS is an official Gold Ribbon school recognized by Texas Children At-risk! We are number 168/2013 schools. The list is published yearly in The Houston Chronicle and it recognizes the efforts of schools building a strong culture of high expectations for ALL SCHOLARS. It shows how we think out- of-the-box, we accept nothing short of REMARKABLE DNA from students and staff alike, and we use our resources wisely allowing for innovative, unique ideas to drive what we do. All of these things together create a gold ribbon school for students that might other wise fall  through the cracks of an institution for various reasons.
