Having spent the past 20 years in education and now entering her 17th year as a School Counselor, Mrs. Davis can say that she is unequivocally still deeply passionate about helping students uncover and maximize their potential.  A philosophy of hers is that while no one can be great at everything everyone is great at SOMETHING!  Her calling is to help students find their special "SOMETHING."  As the Anti-Defamation League's 2018 Walter Kare Educator of Excellent recipient, Mrs. Davis understands the importance of school wide programming that promotes culturally responsive learning environments.  Her goal is to ensure all students feel safe, respected, included, and have equitable access to everything needed to support their above average academic achievement, positive social success and emotional growth and well-being.  Three core values you will see her focus on each and every day are Emotional Wellness, Academic Growth and Relationships (EAR).

Prior to joining Spring ISD Mrs. Davis served as an Elementary Counselor in both Humble and Spring ISD and most recently as a Secondary Counselor in Galena Park ISD.

Mrs. Davis is a devoted wife, mother of three beautiful children and proud alumni of Wiley College and Prairie View A&M University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in History and master’s degree in Guidance Counseling, respectively.  She cannot wait to meet each and every one of you and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to return to her roots where her career began and looks forward to helping Twin Creeks continue to grow, advance and evolve!

I have been in education for over 24 years with 12 of them having been in high school and 12 at the middle school level.  My time in education has shown me the saying that, “kids don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” is very true.   It has always been important to me that kids see me as a professional and as a role model in everything that I do. As a counselor at Twin Creeks I plan to model responsible behavior, trustworthiness, optimistic thinking, goal directed behavior, self-awareness, social awareness, decision making and self-management.  I plan to address their social and emotional needs in individual and group counseling making myself a primary resource to kids and families.

Diverse experiences in education have allowed me to develop strategies for effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. As the 7th Grade Counselor, these skills allow me to build and nurture strong, supportive relationships with all members of the learning community. These partnerships, along with a shared commitment to a common vision, mission, values, and goals will keep teaching and learning the focus of my counseling duties. I am committed to assisting the administration in providing leadership that ensures students are consistently learning at high levels and that students are being sufficiently prepared for success in college and their future careers.

Prior to coming to Spring, I was a Middle School Counselor in Humble ISD.  Before Humble I was a Counselor, Assistant Principal and Principal for Texans Can Academy Charter High School where I served at-risk teens.

I am a devoted husband and proud father of 2 wonderful daughters Emerson and Addison.  Molding and Modeling for them is how I spend most of my spare time but I also enjoy watching college and professional football, fishing, hunting, spending time with family and playing dominoes.  I earned my Bachelors of Science in  Criminal Justice degree from Sam Houston State University (The 2021 National Champions) and my Masters of Counseling degree from Prairie View A&M University.

I am excited about introducing myself as the 8th grade school Counselor.  I believe that all people, regardless of age, strive toward self-direction and growth - AND - that we all need connection and belonging.  When I work with students, families, teachers, and other school community members, I aim to cultivate meaningful relationships that are helpful to those guideposts. My goal is to provide programs and services that enhance the educational process for each of our students. I look forward to working with all of the students and parents at Twin Creeks Middle School and being a resource for achieving emotional, social and academic success.

I earned my Bachelors of Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and my Masters of Science at Texas Southern University.  I have been in Spring ISD for twelve years and recently transitioned from elementary school counseling.  In my spare time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, shopping, and being with family and friends.
