The school building opens at 7:35 a.m. Please do not drop off your child/ren before 7:35 a.m. as there is no one on duty to supervise them. All PK-5th grade students will receive breakfast in the classroom. Breakfast is served at 7:35 a.m. and instruction begins at 8:05 a.m.

• (New) Car Riders: Enter the building in the morning via entrance B (by the gym Door #10) off River Laurel Dr. The front of the building is now the arrival and dismissal designated area for Spring ISD school buses. 

  • Cars will form a single line and pull up behind the next car to unload students safely.

• Rushworth Walkers: Enter through entrance A (Door #12) nearest the CASE classroom near the front of the building.

• River Laurel Walkers: Enter through entrance B (Door #10) nearest the GYM.

• Day Care and Special Education Buses: Enter the building through entrance B (by the GYM, Door #10). 

• (New) Buses: Load and unload at the front of the school building.

  • Students will enter and exit the building through Entrance A (Door #12) nearest the CASE classroom.

Please Note:

Our bus zone is full to capacity, therefore, no cars will be allowed in this designated area. We ask that you support and assist with the following:

• Bus Zone: Please refrain from parking or blocking any of the driveways, entrance/exit doors, or front curb entrances due for safety reasons. Designated personnel will support various locations to load, unload, and receive students to ensure that they enter and exit the building safely.

Important Reminders:

• If you need to conduct school business, parent slots will be available in the front school parking lot during regular business hours. 

• No students will be released after 2:30 p.m. 

• In the event your child/ren mode of transportation changes, please notify the main office before 9 a.m. and email your child’s teacher.

Dismissal Procedures 

School ends at 3:25 p.m. We ask that all students are picked up by 3:45 p.m. Students picked up after 3:45 p.m. will need to be signed out by his/her guardian. 

• Car Riders: Parents picking up students will enter through Entrance B located by the field on River Laurel Dr. 

  • Cars will line up in the order they arrive and display their car tag on the dashboard. Students will not be released to a car that does not have a car tag. This is to ensure the safety of your child. Thanks for understanding in advance. 

  • Traffic attendants will be present to direct cars to the proper pickup zone.

  • Please wait in your car for your child. Students will be released and loaded by school personnel.

• Rushworth Walkers: Rushworth walkers will be escorted through Door #3 to the Rushworth and Fair Park Drive intersection.

  • The walker attendant will have a sign out sheet for receiving parents of Pre-K-1st grade students.

• River Laurel Walkers: River Laurel walkers will exit through Door #12 and be escorted by campus personnel to Laurel Brook and River Laurel Dr. Receiving parents of Pre-K-1st grade students will have to sign for students.

• Day Care and Special Education Buses: Daycare buses and Special Education buses will enter through Entrance B located by the field on River Laurel.
