Counselor

I am a graduate of University of Phoenix, University of Houston-Downtown and Lamar University, Masters in Counseling. I have a strong background as a special education teacher. I believe strong communication with parents is very necessary to the building of strong confident scholars. My passion is pouring into scholars, watching  confident, kind, respectful and caring people evolve. This is my first year at Major Elementary and I am proud to be part of the counseling team. My husband and I are proud parents of four beautiful children who are graduates of Spring ISD schools. Over the past few years, I have traveled to Europe many times, China, Belize  and this upcoming school year to Japan with scholars of 11-14 years of age. I love teaching scholars multicultural education through travel, it builds diversity and understanding of all people. I look forward to building relationships with teachers, staff and stakeholders at Major Elementary.
