Spring ISD adopted Amplify as its core curriculum in 2021. Amplify was vetted and approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and has partnered to provide Texas schools with access to high-quality, TEKS-aligned K–8 language arts and reading curriculum. All students in grades K-8 use Amplify ELAR and Bilingual students in grades 3-5 use Amplify SLAR to daily engage in interactive and challenging content. Amplify prepares students for what STAAR will look like in the future and serves to develop strong readers and writers. Amplify also integrates Social Studies into its content as a way to ensure students make real world connections.
